PMT Publishing is looking for an art director for one of its titles, Birmingham Home & Garden. BH&G is a standard, four-color magazine published since 2001, featuring beautiful content and photography under the tagline, “Inspired Living for Birmingham & Beyond.”
The art director will work closely with the editor to design, layout and produce each issue. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Photoshop. Experience is a big plus, but talent, creativity, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and organizational skills are just as important.
The position can be filled by a freelancer who will spend time during each issue’s production cycle at the Birmingham office, but applicants can indicate if interested in full-time employment.
